Alongside our core program, the competition track is tailored for students with a keen interest in advanced mathematical subjects and a desire to engage in elite math competitions.
Math Competitions:
Math competitions are crafted with several objectives in mind:
1. Stimulate Enthusiasm and Love for Mathematics
2. Introduce Mathematical Concepts
3. Teach Strategies for Problem Solving
4. Develop Mathematical Flexibility
5. Strengthen Mathematical Intuition
6. Foster Mathematical Creativity and Ingenuity.
7. Provide Satisfaction, Joy, and Thrill
8. Develop an Appreciation of Mathematics
The program’s primary objective is to ready students for regional and national math competitions. Starting with the Math Kangaroo International Competitions in March 2025 and MOEMS from November 2024, our teachers concentrate on diverse math topics. They familiarize students with the program’s structure, provide practice tests, and guide them through previous competition papers. This comprehensive training ensures students are well-prepared, confident, and equipped to tackle the challenges posed by various math competitions.
Math Kangaroo:
The Math Kangaroo competition is an excellent opportunity for students in grades 1-12, especially those in elementary school. It introduces non-standard math problems, fostering creativity, logical reasoning, and a love for mathematics. This inclusive competition encourages participants to explore problem-solving skills, making it a valuable experience that goes beyond routine exercises. Math Kangaroo provides a stepping stone for students to engage in math competitions, building a foundation for academic and problem-solving success.
MOEMS: MOEMS, short for Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools, is a distinguished mathematics competition for students in grades 4 through 8. At present, we are focusing on offering the training for the elementary Division Grade 4, 5 and 6.
